Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking, and implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and losses.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local health regulations, maintain accurate records of all transactions and prescriptions, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies, organize promotional events and health campaigns, and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Manage the pharmacy’s budget and financial operations, prepare financial reports and statements, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the pharmacy, ensure all equipment is in good working condition, and optimize workflow processes to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Schedule staff shifts, manage payroll, and conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving customer complaints, and providing accurate information about prescriptions and health products.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a pharmaceutical setting, with a strong track record of managing a team and achieving sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and suppliers.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products, including prescription medications, over-the-counter products, and health supplements, along with a thorough understanding of health regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and point-of-sale systems to efficiently manage inventory levels, sales data, and financial transactions.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in records, prescriptions, and inventory management.
- Financial acumen to manage the pharmacy’s budget, prepare financial reports, and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high standards of service.
