Responsibilities

Develop and oversee the strategy for big data and AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Manage the design, development, and implementation of big data and AI solutions to drive business insights and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities where big data and AI technologies can add value and solve complex problems.
Oversee the collection, storage, and governance of large datasets, ensuring compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define cases, KPIs, and success metrics for big data and AI projects.
Ensure cost-effective use of big data platforms and AI solutions while maximizing ROI for the organization.
Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to enhance big data and AI capabilities.
Develop frameworks and processes for data quality management, model validation, and ethical AI practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
8+ years of experience in big data, AI, or data analytics roles, with at least 3 years in a management position.
Deep understanding of big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
Experience in building and deploying machine learning models and working with cloud- based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and lead cross-functional teams.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
