Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire S2P process, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency from sourcing through to payment.
- Implement best practices and technologies to streamline procurement processes and improve spend visibility.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that drive cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the supply chain.
- Lead negotiations for major contracts, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with legal and company policies.
- Manage and oversee contract execution, amendments, and renewals.
- Identify training and development needs to enhance team capabilities.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management on procurement performance and strategic initiatives.
- Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity.
- Implement contingency plans for critical supply disruptions.
- Engage regularly with senior stakeholders to achieve early involvement in the business strategy definition to influence key decisions and improve resource allocations.
- Provide procurement support and guidance to the business in the budgeting process for the cluster.
- Translate business requirements into actionable plans. Capture potential long-term opportunities and address risks.
- Contribute to PMI’s regional and local strategy definition and include global and regional sourcing strategies in local plan
- Drive continuous improvement and simplification of cluster procurement processes in alignment with regional and global procurement operations.
- Ensure regional procurement objectives are implemented, putting in place key control measures and relevant KPIs to ensure procurement process compliance and efficiency at the market/cluster level.
- Represent cluster requirements on end-to-end business processes, standards, and procedures, leading cluster implementation, change management, and adoption of global procurement systems, standards, processes, and procedures.
- Provide advice and guidance on market sources, intelligence, and trends, and facilitate innovation by applying a solid framework with suppliers.
- Coordinate and steer critical negotiations and lead complex ones. Anticipate results and align with stakeholders on possible negotiation outcomes.
- Establish cross-functional cooperation to implement value-added initiatives that reduce waste and increase efficiency, such as offshoring, outsourcing, demand management, and internal process efficiency.
- Segment the supply base and establish different types of supplier relationships based on defined criteria. Define governance and escalation models to manage those relationships.
- Ensure effective and efficient integration and engagement with remote teams or colleagues from SSC, regional, and global functions.
- Focus on building a talent pipeline and effective succession plans for key positions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in procurement, with a focus on S2P processes.
- Proven track record of managing procurement teams and driving strategic initiatives.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience with high-value contract management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with procurement and S2P software platforms.
- Exceptional leadership and team development abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferably 6 years experience in procurement at a strategic level, preferably across categories.
- Experience within PMI, Key Account, Trade, or Sales at the management level.
- Exposure to a multinational environment, preferably within an FMCG company.
- Exposure to people management of 6 years or more.
- Professional certification (e.g., Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)).
