Job offer: Supply Chain Director

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
• Continuously optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee procurement to ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of raw materials and spare parts.
• Establish strong supplier relationships to secure quality materials and favorable terms.
• Manage logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
• Optimize transportation and distribution networks for cost and efficiency.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Implement systems to minimize waste and prevent overstocking.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to maximize performance.
• Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
• Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of optimizing supply chain operations in an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, and inventory management principles.
• Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
