Job offer: Supply Chain Officer

Responsibilities :

• Analyze demand forecasts and collaborate with production teams to develop
  accurate production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to optimize inventory
  management.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize packaging costs, including raw materials,
  transportation, and storage.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best terms and prices.
• Oversee the procurement of packaging raw materials, components, and
  services.
• Evaluate and onboard new suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery
  performance.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve product quality, lead times, and cost-
  efficiency.
• Coordinate the shipping and movement of packaging materials from
  suppliers to production facilities and from production facilities to customers.
• Work closely with production teams to develop and execute production
  schedules that align with demand forecasts.
• Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve
  delivery times.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or
  Logistics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Paper & Board, Packaging
  Manufacturing, or FMCG industries.
• Proficient in demand planning, cost management, procurement, and
  logistics.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Proficient in Arabic and English languages.
• Certifications such as APICS CSCP or CIPS Level 4 are highly preferable.
