Job offer: Application Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements, and prepare future design documents.
• Identify and provide solutions within CargoWise to address business needs.
• Interact with business stakeholders to apply freight forwarding best practices.
• Train business users on CargoWise functionalities and ensure best practices are followed.
• Manage and support CargoWise application across multiple group entities.
• Configure and set up CargoWise processes, workflows, and functionalities for both new and existing locations.
• Analyze integration requirements and develop solutions with third-party systems using eAdaptor mechanisms.
• Customize and develop CargoWise reports to meet business needs.
• Resolve issues related to CargoWise by addressing helpdesk tickets and implementing new features.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address issues and meet business requirements.
• Travel to different office locations as required.
• Provide after-hours support when necessary to resolve issues or deploy features for smooth business operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in CargoWise as an IT Consultant or Application Support Engineer.
• Strong expertise in CargoWise e-Adaptor and end-to-end integration developments.
• Proven experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements, preparing functional specification and design documents.
• In-depth understanding of CargoWise modules such as freight forwarding operations, customs, and finance.
• Completed a minimum of two major implementations and support projects in CargoWise.
• Strong knowledge of CargoWise integration mechanisms (eAdaptor), handling REST APIs (JSON, XML, WSDL, CSV).
• Experience in customizing and developing CargoWise reports for various business areas.
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server 2016 and above.
• Experience in developing Power BI dashboards by integrating with CargoWise databases.
• CargoWise Specialist certification is required.
• Minimum 6 years of overall IT experience with expertise in CargoWise Freight Forwarding.
