Responsibilities

• Set and implement the overall business strategy to drive growth and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the board members to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Manage and monitor the performance of employees across multiple departments.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure productivity, sales, and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct performance evaluations, set development plans, and ensure continuous employee growth.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring effective coordination between departments like grocery, fresh produce, deli, bakery, and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, health, and safety regulations.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to ensure profitability.
• Analyze sales trends and adjust pricing, marketing, and product sourcing strategies as necessary.
• Collaborate with the finance team to manage expenses and cash flow.
• Make data-driven decisions to enhance business performance and resolve operational challenges.
• Lead crisis management efforts and adapt to market changes for business sustainability.
• Develop strategies to increase customer loyalty and retention.
• Other related tasks & duties could be assigned according to the direct manager instructions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 10+ years of leadership experience, ideally in the FMCG industry.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, employee performance management, and inventory control.
• Proven experience in developing and executing business strategies.
• Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and achieve profitability targets.
• Exceptional decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and employee management capabilities.
