Responsibilities
- ETL Development: Design and implement efficient ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data across various platforms, ensuring high data quality and integrity.
- Oracle ODI Proficiency: Leverage the Oracle ODI toolset, including hands-on experience with ODI knowledge modules (KMs), to develop complex mappings, process flows, and ETL scripts.
- Data Modeling & Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements, designing data models and ETL architectures that align with business needs.
- ODI Administration: Manage ODI administration tasks, including installation in high-availability environments, service and agent management, patching, and security implementations.
- Topology & Object Management: Set up and configure the ODI topology, build and monitor objects in the Designer, and manage various knowledge modules and agents.
- Data Operations: Perform database operations, such as aggregations, pivots, and unions, while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Integration Expertise: Integrate ODI with multiple source and target systems, utilizing RESTful services and handling JSON data formats as needed.
- Error Management: Implement effective error handling and recycling strategies within ODI and PL/SQL, ensuring robust data processing workflows.
- Load Plans & Job Scheduling: Develop and manage load plans, scheduling jobs for optimal execution and performance.
- Data Quality Framework: Design and implement a data quality and reconciliation framework using ODI, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in developing ETL processes using Oracle ODI, with a strong understanding of data integration concepts.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, including database development and performance optimization (e.g., partitioning, indexing, and hints).
- Knowledge of ODI: Solid understanding of ODI administration, including topology setup, agent management, and knowledge module customization.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying issues.
- Independent Worker: Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.
