Job offer: Networks and Information Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Maximize performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling upgrades.
• Design, implement, and manage security solutions to protect network infrastructure.
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and respond to security incidents.
• Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Configure network monitoring tools, like routers, switches, and firewalls against intrusions.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor backup and disaster recovery systems.
• Conduct security awareness training for employees.
• Prepare and present reports on security status and incident response activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-6 years of experience as a Network Security Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g., COBIT, NIST).
• Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable.
