Job offer: Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual test cases.
• Influence software requirements, promote proper engineering practices, and implement bug prevention strategies.
• Troubleshoot issues and demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Automate repeated tasks and build test coverage using the Selenium framework.
• Utilize automation testing tools such as Selenium, SOAPUI, Apache JMeter, Cucumber, and Screenplay.
• Develop new automated test frameworks to establish product quality standards.
• Identify and diagnose complex bugs using a variety of tools.
• Conduct non-functional testing, usability, security, risk-based testing, and API testing as required.
• Develop and optimize test scripts, prepare test data, review test cases, execute tests, debug, and provide management reporting.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, backend, product, architecture, and support teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
• Equivalent experience in QA with a focus on automation and manual testing.
• 5–7 years of experience in software testing (Manual + Automation) in an individual contributor role.
• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong working knowledge of Selenium with Java.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile testing methodologies.
• Experience in non-functional and performance testing (preferred).
• Understanding of networks and distributed systems.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues effectively.
