Responsibilities
- Lead the management team in the development and execution of strategy and business plans in line with brand and company standards.
- Achieve or exceed the sales objective through periodic brand performance reviews and taking practical and appropriate action.
- Visit and inspect stores in order to ensure the proper functioning of the operation and the correct pricing and display of the merchandise.
- Contribute to the selection of collection products in accordance with market trends and market segment analysis at which the store product is aimed.
- Contribute to the development of the brand in terms of promotion, event planning, business analysis, and new product development.
- Proactively put in place action plans when targets are not reached.
- Hire and train store managers, and oversee promotion, transfer, and discipline of other employees.
- Full authority on the specific functional responsibility while actions/decisions are subject to review and Confirmation by the Country Director.
- Responsible for achieving seasonal sell-out targets.
- Consistent communication with the relevant brand representative team to strengthen the relationship.
- Communicate activities with merchandisers to obtain optimum efficiency of operations with minimum cost in order to maximize profits.
Qualifications
- College Degree or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing.
- Minimum 6-8 relevant years, with at least 3 years as an Area Manager or similar role preferably within the company.
- Possess leadership skills and able to inspire others.
- Strong business acumen with a strategic orientation.
- Clear understanding of brands and the marketing mix.
- Good listener and able to respond to data from consumer research and results.
- Good communicator, speaking and writing.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Creative and strategic thinker and a detail-oriented operational expert.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
