Job offer: Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Execute test cases manually or with automation tools, ensuring proper test coverage.
• Report software bugs clearly and accurately through the bug-tracking system.
• Reproduce bugs and help the development team understand and fix defects.
• Participate in design and review meetings to understand product goals and test requirements.
• Help maintain documentation of test cases, results, and identified bugs.
• Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure issues are resolved.
• Assist in the verification of fixes during regression testing.
• Build, manage, and track the traceability matrix to ensure coverage of requirements.
• Review and update test plans to reflect changes in project scope or requirements.
• Prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases to validate the system from the end-user perspective

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing
• Basic understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
• Familiarity with common software testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JIRA).
• Understanding of different types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, unit).
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) to support automated testing.
