Job offer: Cybersecurity specialist

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts from security tools and systems (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Investigate security incidents and potential vulnerabilities, escalating issues to senior team members as needed.
• Support vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and other security audits to identify risks.
• Document and report security incidents and create incident response playbooks.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to improve response strategies.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security best practices are followed across the organization.
• Assist in the implementation of security policies, procedures, and controls.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications (preferred): CompTIA Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or similar.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT (internships or projects can count).
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of network security principles, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cybersecurity tools.
