Job offer: Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end testing, including functional, non-functional, regression, and performance testing, on banking applications like core banking systems, payment gateways, and mobile/online banking platforms.
• Create, execute, and maintain test plans, scripts, and cases.
• Conduct integration and UAT to ensure seamless interaction between various banking systems.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools. Collaborate with development and product teams to address defects and ensure timely fixes.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and continuously optimize frameworks for better test coverage and efficiency.
• Work closely with business analysts, developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ambiguities. Support release management to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Generate reports and dashboards on test coverage, defect status, and overall system quality. Provide QA sign-off before major releases to ensure stability and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in quality assurance within the banking or financial services industry.
• Experience with regulatory compliance testing and defect management in a banking environment.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing practices is preferred.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and testing.
• Experience in the banking sector.
