Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Monitor and analyze the company's financial performance, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions to meet financial goals.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies, coordinating with external auditors as needed.
- Lead and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met and reporting is completed accurately.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure efficient financial operations.
- Manage the finance department, providing leadership and direction to the accounting team, ensuring continuous improvement of financial processes.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management, board meetings, and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives, providing financial guidance and strategic insights.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and tax authorities, to manage financial relationships and compliance.
- Implement and maintain financial systems and software to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and reporting capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing finance teams.
- Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to senior management and stakeholders.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
