Job offer: DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Work with the product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
• Build, test, integrate, and deploy software applications that are critical to the success of our clients.
• Manage new releases and roll out planning and implementation.
• Use version control systems to effectively manage codebase.
• Write and execute unit, integration and end-to-end test procedures to ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional, geographically distributed team to ensure successful deployment of applications across multiple environments.
• Monitor (preventive and routing checking) production environments to proactively identify and resolve critical issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in an efficient manner by performing root cause analysis for production errors.
• Develop automation tools/scripts to enhance operational efficiency.
• Evaluate and adopt new tools to improve build, test and release procedures.
• Develop and maintain Documentation for tools, practices, processes and solutions.
• Validate live projects for backup and automatic maintenance jobs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Programming Languages: Proficient in Python, Java, JavaScript and react with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Big Data and Cloud Technologies: Demonstrated expertise in big data technologies and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a strong plus.
• Apache NIFI: Knowledge of Apache NIFI for data integration and flow management.
• Databases: Solid understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases; experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing database structures is crucial.
• KNIME Analytics Platform, DundasBI: Experience with KNIME Analytics Platform and DundasBI is a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and self-motivation.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess a passion for staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline setup and maintenance.
• Knowledge of security best practices in the context of DevOps.
• Experience working with a diverse, globally distributed team.
