Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the SME banking strategy in alignment with the bank's overall goals. Identify growth opportunities and market trends to enhance the SME banking division.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the SME banking team. Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with SME clients. Understand their needs and provide tailored banking solutions to support their business growth.
  • Oversee the development and management of SME banking products and services. Ensure offerings are competitive and meet regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to attract and retain SME clients. Work closely with the marketing team to promote SME banking products.
  • Ensure all SME banking activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Identify and mitigate risks associated with SME lending and services.
  • Manage the SME banking budget and ensure financial targets are met. Analyze financial performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as Corporate Banking, Risk Management, and Operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to SME banking.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on SME banking performance and market analysis.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in SME banking, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of SME banking products, services, and regulations.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful banking strategies.
  • Proficiency in banking software and CRM tools.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
