Maraqa International Corporation is the successor of Saleh Yehia Maraqa & Co., a company that was established in Jerusalem at the beginning of the 20th century. In 1942, the company moved to Amman and continued its expansion. Today we have two groups of companies that operate in various different industries.

1. Maraqa International Corporation Group – It is the mother company of Salon Vert, Grand Magazins, Maraqa Home Interior, La Cortina and Arika. Maraqa international is very well known in the industry with six main branches dealing with textiles, fabrics, carpets, flooring and furniture and accessories. MIC carried out many projects ranging from the Royal Court, big hotels, banks, airports and other main projects, localy and internationaly.

• Maraqa Telecom – It is specialized in mobile communication industry. We are the distributor of Mobilecom, a GSM provider in Jordan and a subsidiary of French Telecom (ORANGE). Through a fleet of 15 cars and sales representatives were able to service over one thousand points of sales throughout the kingdom in less than a year time.

• Maraqa Ceramica - a retail and wholesale company that is specialized in ceramic tiles and sanitary ware business. It is an exclusive distributor for Jordan for several Spanish tile makers such as Ibero, Saloni, Gres Cid and BellaVesta just to mention the main ones. Maraqa Ceramica depends heavily on big construction projects in addition to a really strong retail background in the industry. In just a couple of years, Maraqa Ceramica became a well recognized icon in this industry.

• Maraqa Appliances – It is a household appliances company which the exclusive distributor for Maytag, the American appliances Corporation, and the exclusive dealer for the german company of Teka in Jordan. In addition to the retail operations of the company through the company’s showrooms, the company holds a strong distribution network all through the country, to make sure we reach every potential customer, not forgetting about providing high quality services for clients.

• Maraqa Foods – This Company is specialized in Foodstuff and consumer goods distribution. We have a fleet of trucks to cover the entire kingdom. The company owns exclusive distributorship of several brands.
